Key responsibilities

  • Present our service portfolio and understand requirements through demos, presentations, and scoping calls with prospects and clients
  • Build trusted consultative relationships with prospects and stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor on cyber security solutions
  • Translate technical capabilities into tangible client solutions, aligning our offerings with client needs and business objectives
  • Deliver proof of concepts and provide comprehensive report write-ups, demonstrating the value and feasibility of proposed solutions
  • Deliver technical proposals and tender responses, including the creation of a tender library – outlining detailed solutions that address client challenges
  • Co-host technical webinars and events to educate clients and prospects
  • Support marketing initiatives by contributing to the creation and refresh of marketing material, leveraging your technical expertise to communicate product benefits effectively
  • Support the design and refinement of service offerings by incorporating new technologies
  • Attend industry events to represent Longwall, network with potential clients, and stay updated on industry trends and developments
  • Engage with our clients to support maximum adoption and success with our managed services offerings
  • Create and maintain demo environments and technical sales material to facilitate effective product demonstrations and proof of concepts
  • Be an active contributor to the Longwall team, offering constructive suggestions for improvement or new opportunities, and providing support as needed to colleagues

About you

You are a service orientated, experienced technical sales expert who has a passion for uncovering & understanding client problems – leading them through a sales cycle to close deals on the right service offerings. You are confident in your communication, both verbally and written, ensuring that you can be precise and concise whilst conducting technical presentations, demonstrations and scoping calls with clients.

Qualifications

Entry level cyber security qualification (CC, Security+), Full UK driving license

Essential skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in technical sales, presales or consultingTrack record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on consultative selling
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting technical presentations, demonstrations, and scoping calls with clients
  • Proficiency in understanding client requirements and translating them into technical solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical delivery

Desirable skills

  • Experience in supporting sales teams in closing deals and achieving revenue targets
  • Previous experience in delivering technical training or workshops to clients
  • Familiarity with security concepts and solutions
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in cyber security

The recruitment process

  2. A follow-up, in-person interview where you’ll meet the hiring manager and other team leads. You’ll be asked to prepare and present on a relevant scenario or topic.
